Easy Chocolate Fudge Recipe

As a Certified Nutrition Specialist, Mike likes to find ways to prepare delicious foods that most people can't believe are actually healthy for you. If you have a sweet tooth, you probably have tried to find ways to still enjoy sweet treats, but also try to make them healthier than the typical junk fook desserts.

The major problem with most so called healthy desserts is that most companies attempt to make them healthier by reducing fat content and thereby increasing
the sugar content or artificial sweeteners. There's nothing healthy about either of those choices.

Below is Mike's famous healthy chocolate-peanut-butter fudge recipe that takes only 5 minutes to make and is really simple. The great thing is that the recipe uses no added sugars, no artificial sweeteners, and all healthy fat sources. You'll see why below.

Here is the Easy Chocolate Fudge Recipe:

  • Extra Dark Chocolate Bar. A 3 to 4 oz bar works well. Look for a bar with at least 70% cocoa content. Bars with cocoa content between 70 and 85% is best to minimize sugar content.
  • 4 to 5 Tbsp of your favorite organic nut butter such as almond butter, cashew butter, peanut butter and so on.
  • 3/4 cup of organic coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp rice bran
  • 2 Tbsp oat bran
  • 1/2 cu raw pecans, almonds or walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisens
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Stevia to taste. Stevia is a natural non-caloric sweetner as opposed to articial sweeteners.

Mix the coconut milk, nut butter and chocolate bar in a medum saucepan. Melt at low heat. Continusously stir until all ingredients are melted and mixed together. After all the ingredients are melted and mixed, add the other ingredients and stir together very well.

Once everything is mixed, spread the mixture onto some waxed paper laid out in a baking dish. Place the dish in the refrigorator to solidify the mixture.

This easy chocolate fudge recipe is the healthiest known to man.

Keep in mind that you still need to keep your serving portions small because this is still a calorie-dense snack even though it is super healthy. The good news is that it is lower in sugar and calories than the typical fudge. It also has more nutrition than any typcial fudge.
